BLDC Ceiling Fans 1200mm

I've recently moved to Pune and the energy prices here are just something else! Its about 2 times higher than what i used to pay earlier. In order to save some units of electricity, I would like to replace the traditional 1200mm ceiling fans with BLDC fans. 3 of the 4 fans on an average operate for 12 hrs/day. There are only two brands that I have come across. Atomberg & Crompton. Base models are priced similarly (online). Haven't inquired about the prices in the offline market. It feels like a no brainer to switch to BLDC but I'd like to know how these fans perform in the long term. If any TE member has experience to share, please feel free to do so below!

Side note: How much do you pay monthly for your energy needs?

leave aside the energy. it will be quieter and cooler then that of a brush moter if using for longer hours daily.
 
I am using Atomberg Renesa Plus fan and am pretty happy with it. Do not go for fancy features like Alexa integration that spikes the price. Do note that we have to disable speed controller (on switch board) and only use the remote that comes with the fan.

I use atomberg and they are really good. Very silent. Air delivery is better than usual fan. I have the one which uses the normal regulator. No remote

They are same and depending on model you will get what you paid for. I too have atomberg fan and its better then the brush one for sure. and I am telling this based on experience where my pc used to generate so much heat and being in small room the time for the air to cool was to long and as the fan use to run nearly 24x7, bldc one was able to deliever cooler air in compared to bursh one as bursh one will heat up the air in long run.
 
I think I was the first person in this forum to get a BLDC ceiling fan 5 years back and the atomberg fan still works without issue.

No ceiling fan has brushes. They are induction motor which have no brushes.

Does a single remote work with multiple fans? Doesn't it get annoying to reach for the remote to change fan speed? I want a bldc fan, but don't want another remote to keep track of.

In my case having a remote would be better as the switches in my house are located at not very convenient places. Does it work with those phones which have an IR blaster? That would be a convenient way to control all the fans. Maybe.

Cool. Can you share more details about its features. Like the On/Off Timer settings and Boost Speed?

As long as the brand of the fan is the same, single remote works for all fans.

You have to bypass the regulator but you can change speeds using the switch by switching it on / off in a specific order. Have multiple atomberg Renesa fans for the last couple of years and all are running fine. You'll get used to the remote in no time.
