Which budget Bluetooth earphone do you guys recommend.
I have a Jabra elite 65t. The battery backup has been reduced to 2 hours within a few months of purchase. Claiming warranty is too much of a hassle in covid times.

While the sound quality and mic quality were both quite good, 2 hr battery is difficult to work with.

Planning to switch to a Bluetooth neckband that will last 7-8 hours on a single charge. I don't think any tws can provide that much.

Won't be listening to songs on that but comfort and mic quality are the most important attributes. Budget is less than 3k preferably. Noise cancellation etc are not reqd.
I can only see two decent options - OP bullets Z and Oppo m31. Are there any more decent options. Would you guys recommend something else?

This seems quite good as I get ear fatigue after long hours due to tight fitting items.

I actually happen to own a few of the suggested options above, specifically for office calls.

Jabra 65t.
OnePlus wireless Z.
VModa Boom pro on a Sony 1000XM3

Jabra warranty is pretty straightforward, I replaced my 2yr old 65t just before the warranty expired.
The backup got reduced to 1 min towards the end.
All I had to do was drop a mail to them, they created an RMA request and the only delay was the replacement availability.
Once it was available, all I had to do was drop my old 65t at the store and got a new one as a replacement.

Among the suggested options for neckbands, the following is what I've experienced so far.
Mic quality for office calls: Oneplus Z >> Oppo M31 >> Samsung Level U (in fact worst mic for calls).
The audio quality for music: Oppo M31 >> Oneplus Z >> Samsung Level U.

With OPZ, the neckband is flexible, supports fast charging and takes the abuse pretty well.
Level U has a hard neck band, I think

There are many youtube comparison videos in terms of mic quality for the products mentioned above.
You can listen to the samples before making a decision.

Not getting into Boom pro discussion as the OP is not looking at this option, but happy to answer any queries on them.

I have Samsung level U and been using it for past 5 months. It doesn't fit right into my ear. I tried all 3 sizes of ear tips and none of them suits my ear. Always has a feeling that it might come out of the ear anytime. Battery wise its great but fit wise its very poor for my ear. I suggest trying it out in demo and see if it fits properly before buying

I have been using this for the last 8 months or more. Very satisfied. I do close to 4-6 hours of calls a day and this survives. Range is OKOK, but voice quality and NC is pretty good. I have Galaxy Buds+ arriving in 2 days (for personal music listening, i do not intent to use them for work calls but will surely be testing them for that purpose, can update more on that if you would be interested)

The Galaxy Buds+ would be perfect for you. I've been using them for a few months and their battery life is great, with good mic quality too. Comfort wise also they are quite nice as they are pretty light.

They're available for 6k on the samsung store after discounts.

That is a bit out of my range. Although, now i wish i had bought the buds plus instead of Jabras. The QC process at Jabra is messed up. Too many user's complaining. I just checked Buds plus are available for just 5700 right now on the Samsung website. Great deal at the price.

Thanks for sharing your real life experience. I am already familiar with the annoyance of trying many tips to get a good fit with Blon Bl03. Don't want to go through that again. Based on the above, will just play it safe with the bullets

I have used a similar device from iball and get an ocd to constantly switch ears lol

I am also using samsung level U and I don't have any complaint from anyone in terms of audio quality and I use if for Teams calls daily. As far as tips are concerned, I agree, since these are not in ear canal buds, they tend to fall of but to fix it, us the ones which have that ear lock and they will never come out on their own.

The ones with ear lock is very hard and rigid in structure. After few minutes it will start stretching the locked area and causes me pain. Ears structures are different for people. So suggest trying it once and before buying.

just curious - why the preference for IEM? I have a jabra evolve 75 and 75e and the 75 wins every time..
 
If the lockdown opens on June 1. Will go and try out both the bullets and the level Us. If level U fits fine, will go for that since I the open shape leads to lower fatigue. Although the fit could be a challenge.

Lockdown is not getting lifted on 01st June unfortunately. I am in Mumbai too and waiting for amazon to start shipping TVs as I need to buy one 32 incher. About Samsung Level U, they come with that ear lock silicon thing which keeps the earphones in ears. I even got extra in case I lose them. Here is amazon listing I got from...

I was able to get the Jabras replaced quite easily. Thanks @sriharsha_m, I dropped a mail to them and the process was fuss free. Before this i was trying to reach out through app support and no one was responding. Jabra 65t is very good for calling.

Still went ahead and bought a Samsung level U2 just to experiment with the shape. Now i take calls only with the level U. My suggestion is if you like to take calls with apple earpods, then samsung level U will be the closest thing in wireless.

For me, deep sitting iems create a vaccum feeling and i feel my voice echoes inside my own head. For loose sitting earphones, i dont feel the same vaccum and can speak without feeling a buzz in my head that i get when using iems like - jabra 65t, cx275. Ofcourse the fit and seal isnt as good with the level u. But that’s what gives it an airier feel.
