I have a Nokia 7500 (Series 40)phone I want an app such that I can control the mouse on my laptop when I'm watching a movie on the TV, The application has to be installed on my phone so that I can configure any PC I want something like the remote application on SE phones ?

Are any such apps available ?

Try Puppetmaster. I use it on my N-Gage QD for controlling my PC. It works on my HTC Touch as well but not properly (don't have buttons :P) but the mouse mode works.
