Hi Guys,

Iwanna buy a bluray drive for my pc i have many doubts here

My major use is to Watch my original Bluray Collection on PC

Is it better i go with Blu drive or with Bluray Burner?

if Bluray Burner is the media available at a reasonable rate

What Company shuld i go for?

What is the cost be around?

Suggest me some shops @ Bangalore pretty new to this place

You can get a DVD-bluray combo player which will only play Blu rays and not write. They will be cheaper.

BD drives are costly and even the media is still expensive.

You can check them online. I only know the Blu ray writer costs as I was looking to buy them a couple of months ago. ~7-10k The combo one should be lower though.

Get a BD RW, its about 7.5K @ primeABGB.

Looking at LG BH12LS38 Optical Media - Internal SATA 12x Super Multi Blue LightScribe - LG Electronics IN, i would recommend it. The price mentioned on that site is 4990 only which is excellent. Don't know if it is available in stores yet or not. Also price mentioned for the same on flipkart is too high. This is very unusual or LG website has mentioned it wrong.
I am using LG WH10LS30 for past 1 yr. and it is still going strong.
