Com'on guys lets order some now ;)
The BMW 320d Corporate Edition the base 3-series model, is now available to individuals for a mouth watering price of Rs. 23.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The Corporate Edition was previously available only to fleet customers, essentially hotels or large corporate companies (hence the name) and a minimum of three vehicles had to be ordered. However, BMW has decided to expand the reach of its 3-series by offering the base version to a single or individual buyer as well.

A small but significant change in the 320d Corporate Edition for individuals is the inclusion of a semi-electric driver’s seat which adjusts electrically for height and recline (forward and backward adjustment is still manual), unlike the Corporate Edition for fleet owners which had full manual adjust and nothing electric.

Unlike the fully loaded 320d Highline, there is no sunroof and CD changer - only a single CD player is available. Also, the Corporate Edition has no wood garnishing but simple black trim and fabric seats. However, these are small concessions to make since the Corporate Edition is a massive Rs. 10 lakh cheaper than the Highline and is incredible value for money.

BMW will officially launch the Corporate Edition next week but dealers have already begun taking bookings and many have already sold out all their stocks.

This is surly the best price and time to get a Beemer...
If only I got paid more :@

All in due time, all in due time.......

Ah wait due time is still 20 years away, fcuk my company and fcuk myself.....

Wtf!
First the Skoda Superb and now this!
Only today afternoon I watched an American review of the mercedes c-300 where the mentioned the price to be around $35000 i.e. only ~Rs.18-20lacs which is half of what it currently costs us :@
I like where this is going :hap2: :hap2::hap2:

^^ yeah, this seems awesome. As long as they keep slashing European car prices, or car prices in general in India.

And Yeah its Only, compared to the 30+ one needs to pay for the next higher up version of the 3 series.

Also consider that the Audi A4 or the C class prices are still way way higher.

This is a 320d BMW for the price of a Honda Accord!!! A few years back this was unheard off.....

^ There's an executive C class too right for about ~24L IIRC?

Also while the Accord might seem overpriced.. we must remember, in terms of size and performance its more of a poor man's 5 series.

^^
My friends dad "upgraded" from the Accord to the c-class and I mentioned that the rear legroom isn't what you would expect in a merc.He totally agreed that apart from a few bells and whistles, what your mostly paying for is the merc name and the Accord was indeed more roomier at the back and worth it at least as far as a chauffeur driven experience goes.
Same goes for the new Superb or the Teana too but the beemer at ~25lacs is definitely worth it compared to an accord at the same price :D.

If a person owning an Accord is poor then i am below poverty line :(

Not to mention, the previous generation Accord with the 3.0L V6 engine was one of the most powerful engines to be present in a car of its class, putting out 200+ bhp. Wonder why Honda gave up on that engine for the present gen Accords.

In looks department the new Accord totally owns the 3 series ,IMO .Ofcourse looks are subjective. The other day there was this Black Accord parked next to a 3 series and I couldn't stop looking back at the curves on the Accord again and again :P.

Whats new news in that ? :S Even Merc has launched the corp edition and Audi is in line too..

For me C-class is better choice than this too small car and after that 525i is what we should look for :D

240+ bhp to be precise.

Honda didn't discontinue it, they offer a newer 3.5L V6 with VCM.

I don't quite like the current gen Accord's looks. Atleast the European version looks way classier.

Hey I didn't know that! Thanks for that. :)

What! Are you serious! :O
This Accord looks way better than the previous generation model. Or perhaps to each his own. :P
