The accord we get here in the UK is way better n sporty than back there in India..

Im buyin it guys, when u sit inside this car ... i dunno how compare bmw feel with so-called "accord".

I lov'd it, and I hope to purchase it before road tax increment here in delhi... i.e. bf4 june starts

The EU Accord or the Acura TSX in the US is one gen older and is smaller/less powerful and has a smaller engine (2L vs 2.4L in India) compared to the accord sold in India. Folks should stop crying hoarse about india getting a bad deal.
 
^^ never knew India has started getting newer generation accords than rest of the world.. ;)

btw.. 1.5 mil Inr (22k £) as compared to 1.9mil(ex-showroom).. i feel the EU models are better value for money.. ;)

P.S. I own an accord myself.. i am not saying it is a bad car.. but comparing it to a BMW is meh..

ROAD TAX is collected by state Govts, that is why every state has different road tax rates. and this hike in road tax you mentioned is only for delhi and the other states will follow their existing tax rates.

the highest road tax in india is in karnataka where cars below 10 lacs attract 15 per cent road tax and its 18 per cent for cars with ex- showroom price above 10 lacs.

Yes & this car will go expensive by 1.5 Lakh. So I've purchased it and should be delivered by Sunday max !

For 1.5 Lakhs, you can get one more car :P :rofl

yup.. i still stand by my statement.. THIS LOOKS WAY BETTER THAN THE ONE IN INDIA... u have to see it in flesh to believe it.. it has more sharper cues.. more technologically advanced.. and has a diesel engine too..

@raghav: u got ur bimmer?? someone mentioned u put up a thread in show-off but couldn't find any.. :S
