I just got my new quad 6700, and I am not going to have time to put it in and clean up my system until Sunday......

How can I bear to wait that long.......When I come home at night, the quad just start talking to me... vroom vroom it goes... install me please... whatcha waiting for slow poke... just go ahead and install me......

Alas.... I have to ignore these urges and wait until Sunday... I can't even play hooky this week either.... boo hoo :(
 
congrats! let it go "vroom vroom" for a couple of days. a 4 cylinder engine needs some break-in before going at full throttle anyways :D
 
hooky = he is gonna hook something ? or maybe hokie pokie ?

yes as soggy316 says.. it means not going where you are supposed to.. like taking a sick and tired day off of work.....or taking a play day when ur supposed to be in school or studying..... or playing with the computer when you are supposed to be doing other important things :P
 
Geez..at least you HAVE a q6700, is not like you have to dream of having it one day.

come on ... it will just be a matter of a short time b4 the prices catch up there... you will have sub $275 q6700's soon enough :) you just have to be patient like me :P ......I have had my e4300 for about a year now, it was all I could afford at the time.... but luckily I sank the majority of my $'s into the motherboard, case and psu and other important stuff, so I have the ability to upgrade now without having to buy a new system.

I know..... :yahoo: I almost decided to skip my Muay Thai kickboxing class tonight and install it, but I will feel guilty later... exercise is important to me. Anyway, I kinda want to pull everything out and clean up a little bit b4 I install... clean the dust of the fans etc...... Will run some new tests and post to Rig gallery as soon as I can.

BTW what's normal for a good overlclock on these things... is 4ghz out of the question without pushing it too hard... am using Arctic Silver 5 and Zalman 9500 fan, and on a EVGA 680i mboard
