boot screen problem

i had installed windows7, now i have deleted it. (I already had windows XP on other drive)
Now when i start the computer the boot screen gives me two option

1. Earlier version of windows
2. Windows 7.

When I select option 1, it opens new boot screen where windows XP option is present. When selected, XP is loaded.

I do not want the 1st boot screen to appear. how should i do that?

Well its a tough task as you should be aware of the basic architecture of OS that were released after Windows XP i.e. Vista and Windows 7.

The whole architecture is changed after Windows XP. There is no concept like Boot.ini anymore in Vista and Win 7. It would be difficult to explain the same here and the execution for removing that option.

You need to have understanding of boot loader. And to get rid of that option its all cmd line based.
