Bose companion 2 / Creative T40 / best computer speakers

Hi guys,
I'm looking for the best speakers to be paired with my mp3 player (sansa clip zip) and my laptop. Does anyone here have experience with either of the following speakers:

1. Bose companion 2
2. Creative T20 or T40
3. AudioEngine A2

Any other suggestions? I'm strictly looking for 2.0 and not 2.1 since I hate overly boomy bass. Since I'm in the US for a month on a business trip, I can buy some stuff not available in Hyderabad easily (e.g. the A2s).

My budget is $200 max, but I prefer within $150.

I am working at Bose. :P Like we say, your ears are your best judge. Audition them before buying.
 
Thanks for the reply! I auditioned the A2, unfortunately it can't pair with my Sansa Clip Zip without a headphone or other amplifier, the output is too low.

I bought a pair of JBL Jembe 2.0 speakers - lovely little beasts, great value @ $60, but I'm still looking out for better options to take back home :)
