Dad just bought a silver-blue Honda Civic 1.8S MT. The default sound system's pretty good. Not gonna do anything to that. Was planning on getting leather seat covers.... How much, which ones, where ?

it doesnt have leather ? damn :( i checked out stanley and they quoted 15k for my car for a mix of leather and pvc. full leather was 19k

Oh man the civic is one of my fav cars, does your model have paddle shift? My dad wants to get rid of hes Honda ZX and get something else, hoping for a civic :D

Nah. Manual Transmission. My uncle has the automatic one ... Dad drove that .. prefers manual ...

Also, there's a 3kmpl F.E. difference between auto and manual.. Plus the car's gonna be chauffeur driven .. so no point ... I too felt the MT was a better option. Asking him to give me 10% of the dough I saved him :P.

don't get leather..doesn't suit our climate

the fabric seats absorb sweat while leather wouldn't

and that makes a huge difference in the first five mins after you start off from when the car is parked in the sun

Well don't get leather, at least not for Delhi's hot summers. My Ford Ikon came with leather seats, and while it is supposed to be absorbent...it doesn't work. Every time I sit in the car, my whole back is completely wet with sweat.
