There is a shop called atlantic that sells only fans. They have a humongous collection.

Any landmarks/places to find the shop, cause i haven't hear of it :ashamed:
Head to Tara Temple Lane. You'd find a shop on the right hand side with lots of fans on the window :P

@ Blade_Runner,
most probably today i will have to go to LR to collect the x1900xt, will get the details and let you know.

EDIT:
was checking the bills / challans ....the lane is called Chunam Lane. walk about 100 paces and the shop will be on the right side. you cannot miss it. for more exact info. contact stormblast as i had guided him there a few months back when he had bought that sunnon 120 mm case fan.

The case fan, if I presume right, I've got right now :D Real nice one - Helps in keepin' my 6800GT decently cooler.

Check the fans closely as often Atlantic try pass on reconditioned fans - and bargain like HELL !!! I have sometimes paid them half of their first asking price !! :)

Ok i went to lammy today.
I went to the fan shop in chunam lane. They have very good collection out there.
Fanon fans 120mm/105cfm= 250/-
sunon 120mm/110cfm= 550/-
delta 120mm/140 cfm =300/-
i saw them in action and sound levels are quite within normal range, the air they throw out is very good with good force.
If u dont want to go for something fancy, they are very excellent value for money.

apparently recently many TE members have visited that shop, that i wrote about earlier.;)

one of the senior members who had visited it and LR yesterday also informed me that he had bought / picked up a 1GB module of Transcend ...having micron chips ....for 3.9K !!!! ....from another shop.

3.8K deejay ;). I had gone to buy a twinmos 512MB stick but all they had was elpida crap. This thing was hanging on the wall innocently. It seems no one bought it :P. My luck i guess ;) Also me and zhopudey got original panaflo ball bearing fans for 100 bucks each :P

Which size ?? and which shop ? ... Atlantic ?? for a few days back i had gone there with quad and he had to pay Rs. 150/- for a 92 MM panaflo ....

^^Some fan shop on the other side of the street. These were 80mm. 92 would only be slightly more expensive. These are untailed though... so u'd have to install molexes/3pin connectors yourself or have them done at lammy.

Thats the shop i had directed zhopudey to when he had called me.

ps: Its 80mm ...then Rs.80~ 100 seems to be a reasonable price.:P next time try the 92 mm panaflo ....a bit noisy but throws quite of airflow ....infact i am using it currently to test the x1900xt and the temps have really reduced by say 10 ~ 15C on load....:ohyeah: you have to place it properly though.

Temps are (stock speed, gfx card fan at default settings) @ 41C on idle , and about 56 ~ 60 at reasonable load.

Sorry for bringing up the old thread.
But heres the latest update of my powersafe 600w using a digital multimeter.
I started the rthdribl on one core and prime95 on another core.
There are abt 6 high performance industrial grade fans blowing in my cabby.
The 12 v rail was at 12.20 at idle using multimeter and after rthdribl/prime95 load it dropped to 12.14 rock steady.:ohyeah:
