Braid coming to PC in Q1 2009 - Joystiq
The official Braid blog reveals that a PC version of the XBLA darling should be released between February and March of 2009. Braid on PC was originally planned for mid-October, but a decision was made to hold off due to all the blockbusters being released at the end of the year.

There is also talk of a "native code" Mac version to be released soon after the PC, and a PS3 version later if "Sony is interested in the game." It sounds like the code for Braid's PC debut is done and is just being held off for marketing purposes. We've placed developer Jonathan Blow's address after the break for PC owners who want to stop by his place and ask for it personally.

Explore the human condition and manipulate time in the lush, painterly world of Braid, a puzzle-platformer that takes you from a house in the city on a journey through a series of worlds to solve puzzles and rescue the princess. In each world, you have a different power to affect the way time behaves, including the ability to rewind, create parallel realities, and utilize time dilation. There is no filler in this game; every puzzle shows you something new and interesting about the game world.

picked it up from steam today. the game is a lot of fun. a couple of questionable design decisions and it's quite hard but the core puzzle gameplay is fantastic, as is the presentation (lovely artwork, beautiful soundtrack). one of the best 2d platformers i've ever played, and definitely worth checking out.

Just played a couple of levels and the game is awesome! You need to think out of the box! And you must have basic knowledge of time-travel or played Prince of Persia atleast once to understand the concept of this game.

Damn the small-sized games like this one and World of Goo offer so much more fun than the other full-fledged, heavy-on-graphics games.:cool2:

Edit: It looks like Mario at the first glance. Make sure you play on a bit to get to the best parts.;)

Too tough for my small brain. Had to look at the walkthrough a lotta times and im still on world 3 :(

Awesome game. Puzzle-Platformer. From an independent game-developer studio.

For people using the 360 controller, what does the X+RB combination do? Does it freeze time or slow it down? I tried it but couldn't actually get the gist of it. I know X+LB would time reversal at a faster rate. Does every world have it's own puzzle to complete?
