Storage Solutions Brand New Seagate Expansion 2 TB External Hard Disk from Flipkart not working

I just got my Seagate Expansion 2 TB External Hard Disk from flipkart yesterday.
I plugged it to my PC and noticed it showed up in My computer.
When accessing the drive it kept hanging.
Somehow i accessed it, and registered the product using the registration software provided by them.

Then after doing that the HD stopped working. It stopped showing in my computer.
Also, it shows up as allocated space of 3.86 GB in Disk Management, which is uninitialized.

It shows up in the device manager as Seagate Expansion Drive also.

I tried removing the usb plug and plugging again. It beeps for 1-2 secs and then stops. There is no blue light also.

Mine is Win7 pc.

Send it back to them under one month replacement policy....

What should i do, send it to Flipkart or send it to Seagate?
I couldnt use it for more than 5 mins after i got it.

Flipkart has the 30 day replacement policy so send it to them. Was the packaging bad?

The packing was ok. Only 1 layer of bubble wrap.[DOUBLEPOST=1378460504][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok. I replied back to Flipkart CC and they have arranged for a replacement for the same.
I should get it by 10 Sep.

Got my replacement hard disk on Monday morning.
They dispatched the replacement the same day i raised my complaint.
They also took the dead Hard Disk back.
Very good service by Flipkart and WS Retail.
