Hey John,

The original card i had was a Gigabyte 7750 1GB DDR5 that was purchased on 20th March 2012. This was rmaed sometime last month and i was given a 7750 DDR3 card as a standby due to lack of stocks. I followed up with them regarding the DDR5 card and they offered me the 7770 if i was willing to pay the difference.

The RMA center confirmed to me that the warranty of the new card would be applicable for the full period from the date i recieved the new card. The Gigabyte website confirms the warranty status on the card.
