This is just the typical Acer Iconia A500 with HSPA+ support. Indian networks don't have HSPA+ support yet.

I dont know, but its written on the box clearly "acer iconia tab a501 - 10s16", although I agree with you that we dont have 4g yet, but airtel is soon coming up with one.... cheers, thanks for watching :-)

HSPA is very much available in india.

dont worry about it.

Airtel and vodafone does have it.

As far as I know HSPA+ is 3G+ which denotes even more higher speed than the 3G 1mbps - 2mbps speed.
 
Not in Mumbai as of now yet, the article you referred is published in New delhi, and again as far as we all know mumbai prices are anytime higher than Delhi due to more octroi etc charges, hence Your price info is correct but not as of now for Mumbai..... cheers Techpal....

Bump. . . . . . . :-) Extending sale till this weekend, will close it EOD Sunday 25th Sept 2011, Its a great Tab at a great price guys :-) Trust me you wont get it in Mumbai at this price. . . . (* as per todays current price)
