Product : WD Cavier Green 1.5TB HDD (Brand New)

Original Purchase Date : 13th Feb 2010

Warranty : Till 25th Feb 2015

Condition : Sealed/Unopened

Reason for Sale : Too many HDDs lying around

Place : Pune

hey,are you sure that the warranty is 3 years on WD?

coz AFAIK it's 5 years for WD.

As far as i know higher capacity drives from WD come wid 3 yrs warranty.

EDIT : My apologies due to lack of knowledge about WD warranty policy in India as i was using Newegg.com previously for reference.

ALL WD INTERNAL DRIVES CARRY 5 YRS WARRANTY IN INDIA

The ITwares on market is selling this same product for 5450/- low down your price i will buy it will ask my friend for local pick up ...let me know .

HDD from iTwares : Rs. 5450 + 100-150 for shipping + At least 200 bucks as an octroi

^^ no bro.. HDD in mumbai can even be hand delivered for 100 bucks from IT wares.

and really these drives are being sold on Ebay with 20% off 1k CC coupon. so you will hardly find any buyers at that price.. pls revise ur price or else put it on Ebay.. it will get sold fast..

1. The OP is not from Mumbai, he is from Pune. So Shipping charges of 150/- applies.

2.Every one may not be comfortable purchasing on ebay. What if the product is DOA. What if the Octroi is charged. Every is not having a ICICI Cc to avail 20% coupon.

3.Current Ebay listing price for 1.5tb hd is not less than 6099/-. Theitwares listed it for 5800 odd rupees IIRC plus shipping charges of rs.170/-.

IMHO, this is a good deal for those who can arrange a local pickup from op. I hope the op is not attempting a fast one by purchasing off ebay using 20% coupon and selling it here. :)

why is the drive having only 3 years warranty ??
All internal WD drives in India have 5 years warranty

I already mentioned that these higher capacity drives come wid 3 yrs warranty from WD unlike other drives.

Please confirm with ur dealer or WD itself.

Just a google search will be enough to see its only 3 years for these drives folks. and nice pricing, wish i could lap it up. :)

google "WD warranty 1.5TB" .. all HDD's are showing up with 3 year warranty

google "WD warranty 1.5TB ebay india" .. all HDD's are showing up with 5 year warranty
