A cracker of a match. A repeat of World Cup 1998 finale when France thrashed Brazil 3-0. Lets hope the match lives up to its billing. Not much between France and Brazil on past results. The teams have met seven times before with each side winning twice and three games ending in a draw.

Brazil showed a bit more of the sparkle we had been aticipating in their 3-0 defeat of Ghana and that man Ronaldo took himself past Gerd Mullers World cup goal scoring record with his 15th strike in the competition. France were even more impressive with their comeback win against Spain and will be keen to confirm that wasnt a one off.

I have been a staunch supporter of Brazil, but not now, they are not the old brazillian side, now they r just a ruthless and arrogant side that does not play beautiful football anymore...they just win these days...

And i honestly will love to see France advance. Thay can is they play 100%.

nice match so far!!!

Though I feel that Juan should have been more heavily penalised...but then, it was certainly a goal and France got off lightly with just a yellow card....

Zidane is showing some magic :D .....but Brazil are very quiet.....hoping for a better second half!!
 
France playing well :D .. hope they continue the good work in the second half.
And I feel Zidane missed a relativeely esy one there .. he could have made something more out of it.
