Brazil v France (FIFA World Cup 2006)

yeah yeah.....

People said during the first round that France would not even reach the pre-quarters.Then when they qualified for the second round, they said they wont go further. But now see, they are in the semis. :D

That is the mistake I guess SPain and Brazil made.....underestimating France and Zizou.
 
its definitely going to be france vs germany in the finals ... lets see who wins. brazil were jst too over-confident and they underestimated france till the last 5 mins ..lol.
 
France won because their legends performed. Brazil lost because they couldnt realise they could loose until it was too late. It was last 7 minutes where they seem to realise that they are gona loose. They were totally caught offguard by some amazing football and marking of france.

I wish france wins worldcup now. They deserve it. Zidane deservs it. Henry can make it happen.

Its upto germany to stop them IMHO. Portugal couldnt score against 10 men England.
 
^^but the portugal goalie was damn good man ... their strikers were jerks ..kicking out of the goal in penalties :rofl: :rofl:

Pretty good offense from the French, poor defense from the Brazillians. Heck, some key players didn't perform throughout the competition, I'm not the 'least bit surprised.

Glad Portugal made it into the semi's vs England, pretty good show on their part :p

What a fantastic show by France.

I always wanted Brazil to win this but France were simply amazing yesterday.

Zidane was a treat to watch.

That one Goal by Henry was all that took France to victory.

Brazilians tried there level best to score a goal but they just couldnt put the
ball behind the nets.

Every moment of the Match was full of excitement.

What can i say more i didnt bet on the matches as i really thought that
France was always gonna give a tough fight to Brazil especially when Zidane
wont be there in the next world cup.

Ronaldhino also didnt show his magic.

Many Many Congrats to France.

Actually no....Their defence was quite good.... It was just one momentary lapse when they left Henry open.

But otherwise, The defenders on both teams did a great job.
