Broadband internet, which one?

Dude believe me even if Sify comes to ur area and gives u a connection for free don't take it......It sucks......And i really mean it......They have a customer support which seems helpful but in most cases the work never gets done....

I was a loyal sify fan...But recently their quality of service has gone down....

I am shifting to mtnl now....Haven't yet got my connection, but from the opinions received MTNL sounds good....
 
Apart from the monthly fees, there's a security deposit and the modem fees. Correct?

How come it's not refundable? Why call it a deposit then?
 
Does anyone know if MTNL allows DSL internet without the phone usage? i.e. If it's possible to disconnect the phone services and still use the DSL services?
 
abe its mtnl...dont expect wonders from it. Buythe phone and get internet FREE with it...LOL

U have to get a fone line for BSNL and MTNL.

The least you could do is get a incoming only connection for the mtnl phone, should cost you around 100 bucks pm iirc :)
