Broadband might become a basic right in India.


If it does, it would be biggest bullshit ever. We are a country that cant provide basic necessities like food, water and toilets to a huge percentage of our population. And then we have people who come up with such bullshit.

Damn right. We can't even provide proper electricity supply and that too in our nation's capital and they are talking mad shit like this.

Come on! This is India. Take whatever they are offering, at least they are offering something. We are ranking last in Asia in broadband bandwith, it was long time coming.
But totally agree with the above comments, when 20+% people can't even get food, and sanitary system is still like utter crap, this does look like a nonsense, however I will gladly take it. Now they are talking about broadband, tomorrow they will forget it and come back after a decade!

@6pack 2 mbps is not like dial up, it is. I don't need 10 mbps, 4 mbps would suffice, just cut the FUP crap, that's enough.

Nah. These people are making obscene amounts of money by charging flat rate to everyone. Not everyone downloads data in GBs. They make fair amount of money. Even if they made losses, our government is already there to bail them out. Govt always bails out the corporations. Look at the sugar industry. Nice 14k+ crore package now for them.

It is available in Reliance. 2 and 4 Mbps true unlimited. Thunder plans. I have the 4Mbps one. Get 350-400 download speed throughout the month and i do download upwards of 250gb every month. Only need to keep praying to the almighty that it doesnt stop working. If that happens...:banghead::banghead:.

Reliance doesn't exists here no longer.
But,my 1st ISP was Reliance.
I had 75kbps UL plan.
But,Reliance CC was worst.
