Broadband suggestions Ludhiana, Punjab (VoIP)

Hi all,

I am assuming this thread on the fact that fixed-line ADSL broadband is cheaper than wireless 3G broadband... Is there a big difference .. ?

What do you guys recommend.

For ADSL, I think there are a few choices in Punjab .. BSNL, Airtel, Tata, Reliance ..

Would prefer post-paid (its cheaper). Don't need unlimited. upto 2GB per month would be OK for now...

Will be used for general everyday browsing + VoIP..

So for VoIP, do we have to have a minimum speed or will any ADSL do ?

Do these companies provide ADSL or ADSL2 ?

BSNL provides ADSL2+

and Airtel provides DSL (AFAIK)

You have an option of Connect as well in Ldh, they have some pretty good speeds
