Broke my ZTE Blade/San Francisco OLED display a month back.

Was taking it out of my pocket and it slipped and fell face down on marble.. didn't even bounce back a bit.

Even before I picked up the phone, I knew the display was gone..

There's no damage to the display as such, but the ribbon is damaged.

I tired karol bagh and a few other mobile repair shops in lagpat, but none of them could arrange for a replacement display :(

I'm surprised that even thought Dell XCD35 is out, I cant find a replacement display?

Idea's guys..?

^^But dell is giving replacement warranty on its XCD35 so i doubt they will have anything on this. So even if it was a DELL XCD35 (and not blade), they would have replaced it rather repair. :(

they dint even give me a battery for which i was willing to pay for my blade . forget about repairing .

just order a screen from ebay.co.uk

I'd order a replacement display, but I cant find it selling anywhere.. Please let me know if you find it selling anywhere.

^^Purchase my phone, rip out the display and fix in your phone :P

It is OLED btw...make it the first Dell XCD35 with OLED display

I broke my ZTE Blade, not Dell XCD35.

^^Then probably you may be out of luck. You can try some local mobile repairing shops but getting things there too is a big question. If nothing happens, dump the phone and get a new one (may be dell or something else)

@mohit

please PM me if you find a replacement display.

even one of the blades i got has a broken display due to carelessness.

The phone is doing rounds in UK ..my friend is helping me get i replaced..

Orange wouldn't repair it even with charges :(

becoming hard to get a replacement.

If I find one then I will pm as well as put it up in the thread and buy for you guys if interested. But that is if I get the display 1st.

Did anyone try mailing ZTE?

Madav, I've sourced a working LCD display, will only work with Dell xcd35 and zte blade/San francisco LCD variant, not the oled variant

unfortunately the display is not available anywhere..

was it easy to separate the display from the bard?

was it just glued ?

I am planning to purchase a bricked OLED blade as a last resort and harvest the display (I believe that is what you did)

Let me know if there is any place I can try my luck.

Alternatively i'm going to try contacting 'Repairmob dot com)

they repair for fixed charge GBP17 if the device is in warranty. No idea if unlocked blade would pass as a product under warranty to them..

You didn't explicitly specify which variant you have? OLED I presume?
