BSNL Broadband Questions

^^Oh didnt know that. For me it worked when i removed the parallel line. But if it can be done without that then even better.

I phutao'ed them and called the guy who provided us with the epabx and he told me to worry

couldnt help but laugh at this :D

same thing here.

I have taken ADSL on the line which goes to EPABX. No issues. Just took parallel connection from the main junction box to my room. Works just fine.

Yes, having parallel lines before splitter does cause frequent disconnections- especially if one is idle for sometime while typing some long mail, etc and reduced download speeds!!:(

One of my friends had this issue!!

For single wire, multiple parallel connections(provided u have existing parallel outs in every room or where needed)-

(1)Connect mainline into house into the splitter first (using RJ-11).

(2)If the MTNL/BSNL line enters your home right near ur PC, u r lucky, else ask the MTNL/BSNL guys to provide extra length of usual tel wire and route the first connection to your room or wherever the modem will be installed.
Using another RJ-11, connect the phone out from splitter to the wall socket!!
so you still get your parallel lines, w/o any parallel lines before splitter to disturb the ADSL signal!!

Luckily my friend had a loom of parallel connections in his concelaed wiring- say foresight on his Dad's part years back!!
So it was much simpler for him,
though main line was not in his room, he already had mainline into one line feeding other phone sockets in other rooms- connected that line's out in his room to splitter provided with ADSL modem/router-
phone out on splitter to another wall socket in his room, so it became line in for other 3 lines!!:S :P

i have also routed the adsl line in parallel with epabx system of my hospital.

it works like a charm and no probs at all

I am having parallel connection b4 adsl router & had a great online xperience b4,though sort of dis-satisfied with bsnl service now!!
