I have upgraded to this plan but still getting 3.2Mbps .. My friend who lives nearby is getting around 6.9Mbps for the same plan.

Did ACT do some revision there ? Cuz this sarkari company's phattu employees wont be this generous unless somebody came at their throat..

From what i have heard, BSNL's 4Mbps plans are not successful, and only the 2Mbps ones deliver the promised speeds. Can more people confirm ?

I am on the 8Mbps 2841 plan (175GB FUP) and the speed I get are 4Mbps. In my case though, I live in a village and the junction point is quite far.

@swatka I work for BT. My SNR is good and attainable speed is 8Mbps. My area exchange is around 1km away (measured with my bike and in Google map :)).

@?dOuBtFiRe? I had same doubt but you know BSNL customer service they have no idea what 90 days promotional offer means. They said after 90 days a SMS update will be sent in case of any revision in plan . We need to confirm this with some customer care manager.

@Spacescreamer i was on 1495 plan earlier i used to get 3.2Mbps on an average(still getting same:rage:) .

Why don't you guys take these plans of FTTH. You won't face signal dropping issues. I have my 1 mbps plan from BSNL on FTTH and it works much better than it used to on ADSL2.

go to your exchange/customer care office and give them a hand written letter stating the plan -- thats how it has been working since broadband started in 2005 for me :) -- mine is Avadi, Chennai.. or call 1500 from your landline[DOUBLEPOST=1443807623][/DOUBLEPOST]
Whats the speed reduction to after 60GB, is it 512Kbps?
yes.. 512 kbps...

I am on 1445 plan. 2 MPs for 20 Gbs then 1 MBps post FUP. Looking forward to any changes on this one post Oct 1st.
