BSNL EVDO - Question about Sierra 595u and 598u...!!

only issue with 310c is that it heats a lot, if using continuously.. i traded my 310c with 300c, now having 3 x 300c... complete peace of mind..
 
If proper settings are available then you can use it on any CDMA network. U must have proper PRL and registration of your ESN into carriers network.
 
@cisco_tech alright i am ready to shop now. I have decide to go with 598u, looked through out the Internet for a nice deal, and yet got confused again. Issue is there are so many types of sierra 598u, like by sprint, verizon wireless, Ipass, Telus, and there is one more which has no brand name other than just sierra wireless. Which one i should buy?, so it works with without much hassle!
 
Sprint and Verizon would work fine. It is hard to find 595u and 598 nowadays. i dont see much listings on eBay and Amazon. Share the links if you have found good deal.

There are hardly any brand new device. my only concern is if you are buying is used you never know how it has been used specially USB port connection wears off. mine lasted for 2 years.
 
Yeah true but new one will cost more than 4k without shipping which costs another 1k, it would be wayyyyy too expensive, i am just looking at these ones right now, thinking whether i should go for it or not. These were the prices before they finished in market. Listed as new so should be okay
 
So how do i buy it now? seller doesn't ship here. I guess i have no choice but to use a package forward service. How is PPOBOX? Only usb modem will weight about 24 grams but with box and all it might be around 0.5 to 1 kg, 1200 Rs for modem + 1700 Rs shipment estimate... Holy shit!!. shipment costing more than value of product. 2900 Rs is not just bad but wayyyyy to expensive. What do i do???

With box it will surely weigh 1lbs so calculate accordingly.
No other option except getting through relatives.
598/595U require you to get the esn feed in their system and program it after getting values from your local exchange. hope your exchange and you are up to it

I just received my sprint 598u today, and saw its not unlocking with spc 000000, so i am assuming that its locked, does anyone know how to unlock it?[DOUBLEPOST=1419543182][/DOUBLEPOST]Somehow managed to pulled it off, speed is quite less compared to ac2766, i guess i will have to consider purchasing an antenna as well. 78 dBm

I received it today at about 5 pm, immediately started configuring. It took me quite some time to set up the damn thing. Results are not as expected, i thought my speed would reach about 2 mbps with this, yet it was the opposite.
