BSNL EVDO - which modem?

Distance (by road) is confirmed 600 meters, actual displacement (air to air) from my home to tower is even lesser. However I used a pretty old & used cdma phone for checking. That might be the reason.
Anyway I have ordered Zte ac2766, will check with it directly.

What I understand from what you wrote above about the antenna : is that one has to get a Pigtail & a patch antenna and attach the patch antenna to the pigtail. Am I correct?

@sagarsheokand sorry didn't see this post. I bought one for myself and one for my brother. Use ppobox.com for getting a US shipping address. the modem sales for around rs.300(used ones). Add Rs.800-900 as the total cost for delivering to your address.

@kuduku @cisco_tech bro I have spent last few days configuring the 598u modem. But have been unsuccessful. Can you help pls? It has accepted the other settings like MSN and ESN etc. The problem is whenever I write the PRL and other settings like username and pass, it reverts back to the default US one. What am I doing wrong?
 
Well I got a ZTE AC 2766 now but I really waited for your reply, thinking you might sell one out of the two you were getting or at least tell me where and how to get this modem.
Thanks for sharing it now but could you give me a link to the site where you bought it for 300rs., a friend of mine is looking for it.

@kuduku Thanks for advising Zte ac2766, works like a charm till now. Although I never touched 2MBps but still happy with the 1-1.8 MBps I get, since it's truly unlimited.
