You sure spin? If yes, scan a bill and send it to me... of course, mask the account details because I don't need that... I'd like to discuss this with Bharti.

I spoke to Airtel CS less than a week ago, said their new plans were the limited ones, all lousy plans too. Said the only UL plans they had were the 128 and 256.

Interested in what Spindoctor has to say 'bout it though.

rio, i just upgraded to this plan today, i can only send you a soft copy of the bill at the next billing cycle (25th of next month i think).

before this i was on the 900 buck 256 unlimited plan. then i found out that they have a new one where they give 512 unlimited for 1000 (actually 900, because they give 100 bucks talktime on the mandatory landline).

taxes extra of course. 256 unlimited is now 600 bucks here in pune.

the other new plan is the 2mbit limited b/w one which i have no interest in.

edit : ok just checked the airtel website and it doesn't show this plan. weird... tell you what. i am having a wireless router installed in the next few days... i'll ask the sales guy the name of this plan when he comes. if you can think of anything else i should ask him, post it here and i'll do it.

edit 2 : for what its worth, here is a screenie

you will know that pune (and basically any city that is not in north india) does not have the night time double bandwidth plan

also, i will not go to the lengths of renaming my connection or any sort of image manipulation to prove my point.

The 256k business plan cost around 3300, the same in home segment costs 900. SO accordingly the should roll out a home 512k unlimited plan for around 1.6k

Thanks spin, if you can extract any info from the sales guy please share.... 512UL @ 1k is a steal ;)
