Damm 1350 is expensive.

900 for 512kbps ul would be a killer package.
But if u pay adv anually its 13,500 for a year.

Hi all,

Can anyone explain to me what this means?:S

"Fixed monthly charge for voice" and "MCU charge per pulse"
I am planning to subscribe to BSNL broadband , bur I dont have BSNL landline . Is it possible to use BSNL Broadband w/o a separate landline conn.?

You need a bsnl landline for broadband. MCU = metered call unit.

If you want the landline just for broadband go for the plus plan. No telephone rental.

Does that mean that my total monthly cost will be only Rs. 750 ( for UL 750 plus plan) plus taxes, if I am only using broadband and not using the landline.
Also is the speed fixed at a max of 256/512 kbps , because in Home 500 plan u "can" get speed of upto 2 Mbps during the night (2-8)?

I have just opted for a 500C plan due to night unlimited... I think that ways i would still be able to download much more then running the PC for entire day with unlimited access...

Does BSNL speeds stay constant throughout the day or they speed up during the night...

Great news! buttt will you pay Rs. 1350 for 512kbps? Maybe some of you will :D But I'm quite satisfied with 256kbps for now, and deduction of charges is good news for me :eek:hyeah:

:p ... i get a monthly transfer of >30 GB :p ... and 15 GB+ easy with just browsing :p ... and that too at only 256 kbps .. don't think 2.5 GB will last for people like me for more than a few hours :p .. 2 Mbps ... :p ...

Nope, you'll clock more on the 512 UL running 24x7, plus it'll help seeding on private trackers immensely.

^^2mbps for 6 hrs = 512kbps for 24 hrs! same data transfer. yep it will help seeding though. but you keep the comp switched on for only 6 hours a day for downloading in the 2mbps connection. thing is for general surfing in the day will probably exceed the 2.5 GB limit pretty easily
