Hi,

I have installed Far Cry on my system but i always gets blue screen after playing for 15 min.

Below is my system specification.

Hardware
----------
4 GB RAM,
512mb 8800GT NVidia,
2.66 ghz Intel 8200.

Software
---------
Windows 7 - 64 bit
Far Cry patch 1.4 applied.
NVidia 191.07 driver installed.
Sound driver is also Latest.

following things i tried.
1. Tryied it on windows xp, windows vista same result with all the driver updated.

Let me know if any body have any suggestion.

if it was some s/w problem, then it shudnt happen same in XP and Win7.

so most probably overheating

slight chance of ram error [check using memory testing utility or win7/vista booting options]

and which PSU do you have ?

Might be a game problem if you are not using original CD/DVD.

Only farcry gives you BSOD or other games also? If you are getting BSOD everytime/randomly on every game, check CPU/GPU temps.

All other games are working fine.

Below are the other titles i played on my system

Crysis

Crysis : warhead

Hawx

Prince of persia 4

no other game then far cry is giving BSOD.

Other games are running fine not even game is crashing.

Checked ram with memtest passed without any error.

Don't know what to do?

Use original CD/DVD if not using. :ohyeah:

Go to control panel.Under Administrative tools see event viewer.Look for recent critical events, the ones in red. Also under my computer properties--->advanced settings, untick automatically restart so that you note the BSOD message next time you get it.Also check temperatures using speedfan.
