Possible data corruption issues. Try disabling NCQ in the bios and see if those paging errors persist. If I were you, I'd wanna do a surface scan of the hard drive as well! Also DO NOT use NV IDE drivers. They suck. Use the standard ones that come with XP.

read more as i put the last post. then tried fiddling with the nv drivers.
so far i'm just using the following.
display
SM bus
ethernet

NOT using:
audio
IDE (i was using this till yesterday since my HDD would appear in the USB connected devices. hopefully, the nv IDE drivers + NCQ enabled would have been the cause for paging errors).

diabling NCQ:
i didnt check the bios (since didnt find that in the articles read). i would do that too later. but i diabled it through
Device Manager
...Nvidia nForce4 ADMA Controller Properties
......Primary and Secondary Channel
.........Enable Command Queuing

REF: http://forums.nvidia.com/lofiversion/index.php?t8171.html

now i just wait to see more pagin errors. ;)

btw, for surface scan (i remember windows had a better way but it's been quite some time since i did it), in windows it's drive -> properties -> error checking, right? any other tools for surface scan of HDD? please recommend.
