Not sure how to manage savings if govt is going to loot all our money. This is one sick country to live in, in my opinion, do not wish to hurt 'sentiments' of hardcore देशà¤à¤•à¥à¤¤.
I am seriously now looking at alternate opportunities
With all due respect... can you tell me exactly what part of this budget really makes you feel that way? Bar for a few things, this seems to be a 'play-it-safe' kind of budget from UPA.
Or are you talking with other factors in mind !

Not directly related to this budget but year on year Govt does nothing to give reprieve to the middle class like increasing slabs or reducing duties or reducing taxes on petrol and diesel (its a dream for a middle class person to buy a car). The thing is that if Govt increases prices or anything it indirectly affects us.
Say i don't have a vehicle and if Govt increases peterol / diesel rates, it does not affect me directly since i have no vehicle but my company increases transport costs per month citing fuel rate hike, the food vendors hike food prices (yes we dont have subsidized food in our company, in fact it is costly
) because fuel is costly, the normal bhajiwala increases prices citing fuel costs, all this is eating up my salary each month and mind you i don't earn six figure a month so i am no rich guy.

Does any of us blame the government when he/she receives a salary hike due to high inflation or 6th pay scale :unsure:

6th pay scale or whatever is for Govt employees right, not for private sector ?
And not sure which company hikes salary because of inflation, does not happen where i work.

Over all a bad budget for the common man, mind me it will do more harm then good in the coming months. Markets will bear the burnt in the coming months
Govt does need to bring some reforms for the salaried class....

Limit in 80C is only 1L where as now PF is compulsary which was not few years back. So now Atleast they could increase the limit by 12 to 15%.
secondly looking at inflation they shd infact increase the limit of 80C to 2L.
Medical bill reimbursement for entire family is limited to 15000/-... I dont know for how long it is 15K... maybe from the 80s....
Today even a BAMS doctor with a 10X10 clinic charges Rs200 as the min. consultation fees....
This limit shd be raised to 30k to 40K from current 15K coz not every small and big medical expense is covered by your mediclaim/insurance.
The principal for home loans is considered under 80C... and interest is limited only to 1.5L pa.
They need to look at the current rates in the market.... Stamp Duty and reg charges shd be totally tax free irrespective of any sections since its is directly paid to the govt as tax(charge) for doing a property transaction...
Its like paying tax on the tax that you paid as tax for buying something which is a fundamental necessity of an individual ...
Leave aside other tons of topics like subsidies, rates of commodities (grocery), gas cylinders, transport, etc....
Or even absurd stuff like tracking individuals and hunting then like stray dogs just coz they expressed their opinions on FB/ Social media sites.....
half the parliament has criminal cased filed against them....
whats wrong if a honest man is frustrated and wants to migrate our of the country.....

Yes and i know people will tell that migrating is not a solution but i vote for a fact that if you have an opportunity one should. As a common man i am not expecting riches and luxury but at least decent savings to feed my family and save for their future (or lack of) where i will have to bribe my way tomorrow for a kid's admission in school (sick donation), or getting a gas connection (yeah there are shops here who want bribe for a new connection) or even get a new passport or a driving license.
Not related but 2 days back my friend had an incident where he saw a guy falling off from his bike while the bike was in motion. He carried to guy to Aditya Birla hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad and the doctors there first asked for 15000 Rs as deposit and ICU fees. Yeah treat the guy later, first comes money.
Those who still defend this country are living in some parallel reality. :|

I might be wrong but for that you need to stand first in some local election etc and then there is a good chance that the existing politician will get you killed. GAME OVER.
This is India, law is on the d1cks of these politicians.

Migration is the only way out. Ive already started the process.
Everything is better outside, better equates to quality of living, not expense.
I understand that earning 1L pm here means living like a kind (for some people) and it is very heard to live like a king abroad even with a higher salary but I'd rather have quality of living standards to be high than anything else.
When I finally move abroad I will never come back here, unless the system gets a super massive overhaul.

That's not better than India. When moving out, you chose a country which will be better than what you're already in. Europe is the best bet, especially the Nordic countries, but the tax is very high there. It will pay you back with a higher standard of living and an easy life after retirement.
Exactly..... Infact the Govt shd be raining discounts for going Digital with TVs & STBs. The sooner the entire country goes digital the sooner they will have loads and loads of free spectrum available to lease out to military / commercial use like broadband and other revenue generating services....
Also reduce the cost of maintaining 100s of TV stations across the country.... the equipment the staff.... all these costs will be ZERO after they go digital....
Exactly.... Coz currently in India... the salary class is the only one whose tax is deducted before his salary is deposited... He is not given any concession if he purchases bikes/cars or other stuff which business men can show as expenses incurred for their occupation...
and its the same service class who has to stay fearing like a dog because he is too straight and honest to break the laws and get things done criminally / illegally....
Even after contributing so much ... this class is treated like dogs.... and always ignored....
FM says that since the last tax slabs were changed < 4 years back thr is no change possible.... Agreed.
But why does this same thing not apply to many other taxes/ service charges / and other stupid levies that the Govt is keeping on adding and increasing month after month....
