CPU/Mobo Budget C2D Mobo

Hey... I looking to buy a Budget Mobo for a friend with decent overclocking abilities under 4k...

Any Suggestions??

The 965 chipset based mobos are above 5k ... hence i'm only looking at the 945 or 946 chipset mobos

Can you overclock on an Intel Motherboard?? (since I'm gettin some Intel 946 chipset mobo for 3.8k)

AFAIK except for the top level BAD AXE intel boards
u cannot oc on original intel mobo

DIGIT mag gave high points to asrock 945g dual vista
but has no vcore adjustments i think :-(

Buddy ... squeeze urself a bit and get a good mobo .. maybe small HDD or omit the CD/DVD drive ( if you already have one). Get good mobo .. its heart of the PC.

What I suggest is that you get a XFX 650i Ultra, its only 5200 now...

ya man as deepak said the 650i is your best option, u dont seem to be the guy who changes his motherboard everytime a leaf falls so better get one good and solid, besides for 1.2k more u get a hella lota option and stability to trust. think of it.
