Can anyone recommend me a good budget printer scanner?

I have no idea what to look for in this category. Just that it should print well and can scan as well and the Should be easy to refill

whats your budget? the 901 cartridges give better search results for ink refill than the 802 one. The 4500 has a fax option. so its costly.

my budget is 5k tops

Then the best printer in that range would be HP Deskjet 2050-J510a or the Epson Stylus - TX121 Printer.

The HP has 1200dpi scanning resolution compared to the Epson's 600dpi.

The HP 61 cartridges as well as the Epson 91/73 N cartridges can be easily refilled.
