A word of advice - anything with a "Gaming" sticker is usually a ploy to extract more money from the consumer without much added benefits.
Here's a few suggestions for your given configuration :
The CPU you chose is very good. I'd personally prefer Gigabyte UD3 motherboard than MSI boards, something like this. I'm very surprised that you chose only 8GB RAM when you said you'd be doing heavy video editing works. I recommend a minimum of 16GB if not more. You should be able to get a GTX 1060 at cheaper than the 970 and 1060 is more power efficient as well as supposed to be a bit more powerful than 970 as well. Wait for a couple of days when the reviews are out. Like Vyral already mentioned, steer clear from the VS series, they are sourced from lower tier OEMs and just have Gaming sticker on them to misguide. Get a Season S12II 620 unit and you can forget about PSU for the next decade or so. Never ever cheap out on PSU, that is what powers your whole system and that is what will save your system if something unfortunate happens in your main line or in the PSU itself. The Samsung 850 Evo is a good budget drive, if you want even cheaper get the Crucial BX100. As for the Cabinet, you can get the Corsair Carbide series or NZXT Source series like this or this.
And the last advice is to get a decent IPS or VA panel instead of a TN panel with high refresh rate like the one you've mentioned. BenQ GW2760HS is a great VA panel, with great color, contrast and viewing angle as well as fast enough response time for FPS gaming. If you are going to spend most of your time on video and photo editing than gaming then consider an IPS panel like the LG 27MP77 or the Dell Ultra sharp 24".
Out of all the things I've mentioned, I am using the BenQ GW2760HS, Seasonic M12II 620, Corsair Carbide Spec 03 cabinet and two Crucial drives (MX100 and BX100) for two years - so I can vouch for them. And the embedded links are for demonstration purpose only, you should buy them from wherever you are comfortable.

Is 8 GB RAM enough for your usage?

well, I Intended To Have Two 8gb Rams.

GTX 970 has more CUDA cores compared to GTX 1060. Technically speaking, the 1060 is a successor to the 960 and not 970. 1070 would be the successor of the 970. CUDA cores matter in professional apps. I would stick with 970 if work is priority.

go for
Graphics card : AMD RX 480 ( it is new and works better than nvidia 1060, consumes less energy )
RAM : G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop
