31-40k Building performant pc under 40k, Can you help?

First Time Building a PC and here is my takeon to build a pc under 40k.

Parts:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 5700G - 17,000/-
MotherBoard - MSI PRO H610M-E - 6,000/-
Ram - 16GB DDR4 32,00Mhz Ram - 2,500/-
SSD - 512GB PCie 4.0 3D NAND NVME M.2 for OS - 3,000/-
HDD - 1TB Spare HDD for Storing large files. - 4,500/-
PowerSupply - Ant Vale ECO500(Any 450W might work) - 1,000/-
Display - Refurbished Thinkpad T22i 22" display - 5,000/-
Case - Any cheap one will work, I will mod/break - 1,000/-
it for more airflow and punch holes in case
to hang stuff that has no slot in the case.
GPU - Using Integrated Graphics for now.
Cooler - Using The stock that comes with the Processor

5000/- Saved for extra keyboard/Mouse/Speaker

I am completely new to building PC. If something in this list is not right, please tell, I am open to corrections and suggestions.

My preferences:

1. I dont like RGBs(consumes power and distracts too much!).
2. I don't care about the looks of the overall setup. All I need is reliability and perfomance.
I was thinking about using cardboard case first! so you can guess from it.
3. I was previously using i3 7th gen U series(on laptop); the average buildtime of chromium(browser)
was 5 days, 4 nights. So All I want is to close that gap to 1 day atleast.
4. I am not planning to upgrade CPU and motherboard of this processor anywhere in the future.
I will create a new setup when perfomance is needed. But I might upgrade ram, SSD and even
add a dedicated graphics card or another monitor in near future.

My requirements:

1. Compiling/Installing Gentoo Linux,
2. Compiling chromium(browser),
3. Using Graphics expensive tasks like photo editing on gimp(sometimes photoshop too),
4. Playing Games (Valorant, GTA 5, Froza Horizon 5),
5. Planning to Use Blender, Android Studio(with emulator), etc.

Do not buy the 5700g. Get the Ryzen 5500 for 7,000 on Amazon and with the remaining 10,000 get a used gpu (like rtx 2060,rx 5700xt)

Intel supports linux better than AMD.
If its not your primary use case and major part is gaming, then AMD is better option.

Avoid going for 5700g and get a non G model.
You can get a cheapo graphics card from market section or with 1-2 months if money is a issue.
Get a 650W PSU with 80+ rating. It is one area I recommend overspending doesn't go to waste. More reliable and future proof. You can even run 6700XT on a good 650W PSU.

Seeing that you have paired the 5700g which an AMD cpu with a h610 motherboard which is an Intel platform I am assuming that you don't know too much about PCs, I would suggest you to watch some more videos on youtube to get the basics right.

After that the config I would recommend is this, the use cases you laid out are mostly more CPU intensive than GPU intensive that is why opting for something like a 5700 is a better choice, photo editing benefits from better multi core performance but still a dedicated GPU is much better than an integrated one especially the one in the 5000g series so I would recommend going with either a 5700xt or a 2060 super.

If you want to daily drive Linux get the 5700xt and if you want to use blender more extensively get the 2060 super but that will only work well on windows. Also you can't play Valorant on linux due to the kernel level anti cheat system.

This would be my suggestion. I don't recommend a graphics card if you don't want a graphics card. It's just one more thing which can fail. An APU is a much better choice IMO as you get decent graphics performance and lower power consumption. You also have a simpler setup with fewer parts and lower power consumption.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G vs Ryzen 5 8600G

The AMD Ryzen 5 8600G is newer than AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, while the multi-threaded (CPU Mark) is simliar, AMD Ryzen 5 8600G is around 15% faster in single-thread testing.

H610 chipset doesn't support AMD CPU.
You know 5700G doesn't support PCIe 4.
Skip HDD for now, you're on extremely tight budget. Get it later.
Don't skimp on PSU, get a rated one.
Brand new monitor isn't too far from that refurbished one, get a new monitor.
With CPU heavy task you do, you don't wanna cook your components inside a cardboard box. Better get a decent case.
I hope that 5k you're keeping is outside of this budget. If not, then you will have to settle for 5600G

Well IDK if its true but I have heard tht GPUs perfomance degrade over time? So that's why I was saving it for later. But if its false then I can buy any X series ryzen and pair with 2nd hand GPU?

GPUs like ssds don't have any moving parts other than the cooling fan obviously but other than that, nothing can really degrade in a GPU like it would in say an engine of a car.

A GPU will keep the same performance overtime until the circut or the core fails or the memory fails either due to a short or thermal throttling for a long time or something else. But no GPUs in the traditional sense don't decline in performance over time, once they go bad it is pretty much done, they can be repaired but that is something else.

That being said you can buy the second hand GPU right now save for some time and then flip the GPU at a 1-2k loss and get the new one.
