Bought the device 2 years ago and can now find battery deplition 30 to 40% faster then initially.

Is it simple battery replacement or requires technical expertise.. Not sure how to open by mobile (will handle this part via some local mobile shop)

The price quoted there isn't always right. Call your nearest physical service center and ask them.
Usually, they'll not give you the battery by itself - they'd add labor charges to that and fix it for you too.
