hi all,
im planning to buy a psp shortly and was wondering about where to get it from,i had gone to bajaj complex(next to national market) yesterday and enquired in two shops,both of them quoted 10.5k for the value pack,the thing is i dont need the headphones and remote,so was wondering where to get the psp from in bangalore for less and having firmware less than 2.8,
bangalore guys please help!!!
 
he is selling the kit for 15k na? thats way to overpriced!

get it from grey for 8-9k instead if you are gonna downgrade it
 
yup i asked in the grey market only,he quoted 10.5k for the value pack and said only psp(ie core pack) not available,anybody from bangalore bought a psp recently???
 
could any of the guys from mumbai pls post the exact address of alpha in mumbai.my brother will be in mumbai later this month and im planning to ask him to get me one from there.the owners name and phone number if possible
and how far will it be from nariman point since my brother will be staying somewhere there and if it is too far i dont he'll go..
 
is it alpha mall or alpha store wts the name of the place,does he accept credit cards or du have to pay by cash and what do u tell the auto driver and hey thx for the help
 
Tell your brother to take a rickshaw from Ville Parle st. ,the rick driver should be told to go to Irla he will take you into a lane .Now how to identify this Irla lane ,simple where you find utter chaos that is the irla lane .Once into this lane tell your brother to ask anybody where alfa is .There are 3-4 alfas I guess the 1st alfa is the one where you'd get the PSP. Rather asking for the same at any of the alfas would be better.

AFAIK he does not take credit cards only cash.
 
Which headphones are good for the psp? I'll be needing one to use while traveling. Should I go for the value pack or just core? I'll post the latest rates from alpha tonight or tomorrow.

Also which shop in mumbai will be good for getting a 4gb mem card for the psp. Wanna go for the card first. Should I try j j mehta.
 
The rates are still the same at alpha. I think it will take a week or two for the new rates to filter in.

I want to buy a PSP lite, i esquired in Sony World, i got to know that it costs 9k there. And for an 8GB memory stick comes for 8k it seems. Please tell me where can i get the best deal.

my friend got psp slim from a particular shop in National market @ 8.5k.It was customed psp .Shop no 8. its in underground ,right entrance.
IF u get a psp slim from sony world and want to put customed firmware,its very very complicated to install customed firmware,compared to PSP FAT.
 
8 GB memory for 8k.. way too overpriced.. I got 2 GB ones for 800 in National market.. and PSP slim for 8k for my cousin a month ago..
 
with a pandora, you don't have to worry bout the firmware.

Get the original Sony psp slim and downgrade/unbrick the way you want it.

the grey market may have chinese ensembles
 
Do you mean the PSP lite which we get from outside other then Sony World is a greay piece? Will there be any problems with such piece?
