Buying A laptop form USA

I am buying a laptop from USA, its should not exceed 1000$ at max. can anyone suggest one good laptop ? Is it ok buying from USA or we cna get cheaper laptops in India ??

I have shortlisted a few laptops are they good ?
Asus U30Jc-A1
Samsung NP-R580-JSB1US

Is the samsung laptop available in INDIA ?
Also, what are the custom rules regarding bringing a laptop from USA ? can a person get two laptops from USA ?

iam also getting from US ....also seen the above link but i doubt with the quality of lenovo when compared with HP..finally going with customized HP with i5 + 5650 = 980$

Lenovo i7+5753 =$1100 inc tax

HP i5+5650= $980 but ill get it fr $850

there were warranty issues for int'l laptops in India, although they claim its valid, many customer's laptop warranty is rejected in India these days .Hp,Acer,Asus,Sony,Lenovo were among the top list !!!! They currently only support the models for India only, No detailed clarifications from these vendors yet!!!
