Re: Help: Buying a Printer

Check out the HP PSC range. One of the lower end models should fall within your budget. Not sure about the exact model number.

Re: Help: Buying a Printer

for basic usage, i would suggest the canon pixma mp 145 @ 3200rs it is good and has cheap running and operation costs and the print quality is pretty good be it text, documents or photographs.

+1 I bought it for 3k, refilling is super easy

yes the canon pixma mp 145 has a scanner too which you can use for photocopying.

thanks Sunny, Mohit, MohitPreet ad hp-india, matanoid as well for suggestions. will surely look forward to buy the canon one. it suits my budget too..

Hey Sunny...

for cannon pixma, can you shed some light on cost per page print?

i mean......

1) how much does a refill cost and

2) how many (text only pages) does it print

right now we get our office requiremts from a printing shop which charges 1re per page, so i was curious if a inhome printer can give me lower cost than that.

(need to consider paper cost too i guess :S )

so should i go for canon pixma printer?

my basic use would be Photocopy+ scanning along with good quality prints.
