Buying AC for the first time. What things to keep in mind while buying one?

Unless the unit can pull out enough moisture in a reasonable time you won't feel comfortable. From what you've said splits aren't built for that if used for as long you use them.

How to do that? this sounds like it will pull out moisture continously.

I know ACs remove moisture but I am not sure what really helps. I use the AC all the time, not just when it is humid. Even in the winters the AC is on.
 
Any reason to prefer it over other brands?
Great customer service, 5 year warranty on pcb (ver expensive part to replace costs like 16k) , 10 year warranty on compressor. I live in punjab so weather is kind of extreme here . during monsoon there is lot of humidity and it is good in dehumidifying air . And if you get 5 star version their noise floor is like 10db at base so very quite.
