AC II DRM sucks...I know many people who game like crazy but they have limited internet connections
 
guys ur crapping my thread actually what if we use the same login but different profiles like me and bro do in every game we make two profiles like mhafizji and shafizji so wen the game starts he loads from his profile and i load on mine.

i can do the same here, we can mke two profiles mhafizji and freind x and then he plays frm my login but his profile wat say

Ubisoft has said that you can install it on multiple PC's, however, you can log in using the same a/c only on 1 PC at a time. So you and your friend can't play the game using the same a/c simultaneously.

As far as the profiles are concerned, I couldn't spot any option for creating different profiles within the game. So will need to confirm this.

Only one of you can play the game at a time and I guess that has already been made clear to you. You won't both be able to play at the same time Period.
 
like others have said, you can share the game but you will have to login with the same account. which means only one of you can play the game at any time.

the game released in india today btw.
 
Where is the game available today ? i was told its coming on Monday ? Someone confirm
 
Are you sure the game is available in Alfa give me the contact no for Alfa ?

This DRM is very hard to crack.

Basically the thing here is, client will be sending encrypted packets to the Ubi server, Pirates may able figure out what packets the client is sending. But the key here is they won't know how the server will handle these packets and acknowledge them, unless they have some insider information on these things, there won't be a working cracked version of this game.
 
This is the sad thing about PC gamers. You get to buy brand new games anywhere from 400rs to 1000rs (depending on title & how close to the release date you buy it of course) and yet people in India are unwilling to do so (resorting to torrents), even though the same title costs you $50 to $60 in the US (Rs.2550-ish) or more in the UK. If people are unwilling to shell out money for a genuinely good game, why would developers not resort to ridiculous anti-piracy measures like DRM.

On a side note, brand new games on the 360&PS3 would cost you anywhere from 1500-2500, in India.

That's something to think about.
 
the game is not there in the stores in bangalore........... i checked out today.......... only latest game game that was available was Bioshock 2........ Even COD6 and DIRT2 are not available here till now......
