Hi guys...
I wanted to share this experience with you all.
I wanted to buy the router in pune.
first I went to DCC but the person there said that asus doesn't make routers. I was shocked. Then I went to ankita computers, RB kumthekar road. Person there told me that he doesn't have the router but suggested me to go to RP tech, Sterling center, camp. I went there. But the guy who sells routers was not there. Another person told me to wait for sometime. But I was in a hurry so he told me to go to Pearl Infotech, Shivganga chambers, near prabhat talkies, ABC. I went there and finally got my router.
It took me 2.5 hours to buy a router....
So if anyone wants to buy networking products from asus Pearl infotech is the place to search.

Had the same problem in mumbai, had gone on monday to buy the router. It was not available in lamington road anywhere save prime, that too because i had told swapnil in the morning that i would be getting it, so he had kept a piece ready for me. Was planning to buy it online, but the difference was a paltry 350 bucks, plus i knew would be flashing with DD-WRT, so if there would any problem flashing, would go back to the shop and replace it.

I will be selling my asus n13u b1 router(2months old) soon, if any1 is interested, pm me and i will post a FS thread for the same :),

This is why you first call and ask if they have the router or not.

What was the cost??

Next time go directly to Stech computers (google for address)

I know stech but its too far from me...
It costed me Rs. 3300 /-

Most of the stocks are B1 only these days as I think the older ones been out of production since 6 months from now.

If it is the B1 revision, then its indeed a very good deal :)

It is the B1 version, you dont get any other versions from the past 1-2 years AFAIK. and why pay ~800 more at a local shop instead of sitting at home and having it delivered?

3.3k is too much for this. Got it for 2900 from prime.

Asus has stopped production for the router hence no stock !

Wow. did not know that. anyways got the internal images of the router from FCC, it uses samsung memory. Am planning to get a powered USB hub+some mods.

Why don't you order from HS18 for just ~2.5k instead of running around the whole of Pune and still paying more?
