Buying budget PC without Monitor, keyboard & mouse

So finally I am going to this:

AMD Athlon II X2 250 - 2.8k or AMD II X3 – 440 – 3.3K
Asus M4A78LT-M LE ~ 2.7k
Corsair 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM - 1.4k (as it has 10 yrs warranty)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB - 1.7k
LG 22x DVD Writer - .9K
FSP SAGAII 500w - 2.2k
500 GB HDD – 1.6K

We will be adding a decent card in a year's time. Pls give your views as which of the 2 processors will OC better and eazily on stock.

Corsair 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM has dipped to 1.1k-1.15k :p
I would suggest the X3 440 as it has high probabilty of unlocking to X4 640 :)

You told that my friend will not be able to play crysis even if we buy a entry level graphic card and only with a good graphic card we will be able to play crysis, but as he will be using his old CRT 17" monitor so will he not be able to play it on the crt monitor. Pls tell the minimum settings required for running crysis.

Even if u will buy a HD5750 card u wont b able to play crysis...

HIS Radeon HD 5670 IceQ 512 MB Review - Page 11/32 | techPowerUp

Even the HD5670 gives ~28 FPS @ 1024*768 and the HD5750 gives ~37 fps in the same settings.

Is the mobo sufficient to handle X4 640 (if unlocked) and if it is not unlocked, how much can i overclock this processor on stock?

Waiting to know abt this......?

DA dont u think that the gaming experience wud b very bad with the anti aliasing setting turned off... :)
We get what we paid for :)

@OP: The mobo will have no problem as it officially supports all processors upto 95w TDP. Both the X3 440 and the X4 640 have 95w TDP. So the mobo would handle the X3 440 unlocked with ease. No worries.

I have the same query as the OP but my budget is higher. I can spend around 20-25k on the rig.

Need

Processor
MOBO
DDR3 RAM
Cabinet with SMPS

Which one is better out of & why? Pls give me the preference marking it from 1 to 4 so that i can buy it, if avlb in my nearby shop :

Gigabyte M68MT-D3 Rs.2700/-
ASUS M4A78LT-M LE Rs.2700/-
MSi 785GM-E51 Rs.3300/-
MSi 785GM-P45 Rs.2800/-

As i have mentioned in the price update thread super quote for the 785GM-P45. No competition for this mobo at this price :) From which shop did u get the quote?

The price has been given in some questions asked in this forum only.

Secondly, someone is selling Seasonic S12 II Bronze 520W for Rs.2000/- in market section. How good is it for the price with 2 1/2 yrs warranty remaining & how to verify the seller?
