Guys,

I've seen a lot of people in this forum buying stuffs from newegg.

Need to know whether they ship things to India?

if no, is there any work around for this?

Please let me know.
Thank you.

No, newegg does NOT ship to India. + they need a US credit card too. They DONT accept International credit cards.

Workarounds:

1. Order via katmandude (kmd). Tho since he will import officially, you get charged taxes + his fee.

2. Find a relative/friend in the US who has a US credit card and will order the stuff and bring it over whenever he/she comes over. :)

^^Getting them is not the problem but how much extra do you pay as customs and other shipping charges?

Can you please tell me what you have purchased and give that link to newegg so that we can understand how much tax we have to pay..

ok dude just tell me for example if i buy a Processor of $100(as on newegg),what would be the total price you will be paying when it reaches your house??

Assuming that you brought from KMDude.

that only kmd can tell you as his calculations are done according to the stuff needed :)

i think they break it up like (price of item in dollars+shipping cost in dollars)X42X1.2...and den ur local shipping..

you only pay tax in the USA if the place you are buying from has offices in the same state you are located in. So for example:if you were to use Access USA and they gave you a USA address in Texas, you would not be charged tax to ship to Texas since NewEgg does not have a warehouse or office in that State. It sucks for me, because I live in California, and NewEgg DOES have offices here, so I pay tax on all my NewEgg purchases.
