Laptops Buying lenovo z50-70 on Monday , question on swapping hdd to ssd

@GODMODE09 Can you check this review(http://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Z50-70-59427656-Notebook-Review.124524.0.html) and tell me if the keyboard and display are really that bad?

Did the Snapdeal seller send his store invoice? Have you been asked to send a mail to some email ID with your Purchase receipt and Box serial number to get your 1 year warranty activated?
(P.S: My brother bought a Lenovo laptop from a brick and mortar shop yesterday. He was asked to perform these steps to get his warranty activated. They also provided him another website address from which he can activate ADP by uploading the same documents)

Haven't really used laptop as it has no OS .
I checked it out in a local store and it looked good IMO.
Got invoice but no one asked me to activate warranty or anything
Need to check it out I guess

Can you check the keyboard for me?

And are you sure about the full HD display? On Snapdeal, I saw a few Z50-70 models which said in the specification sheet that the display resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels. But there is no such model on the Lenovo India website.

But is it LCD display or LED? This is the biggest doubt I have in my mind.
Everything is an LCD display. The only thing that changes is the backlight, whether its CCFL backlit or LED backlit. Luckily for you, atleast in the laptop sector, everything has shifted to LED backlights due to their slimmer form factor/lower power consumption.

Actually, in the specifications of laptops manufactured by Hp for example HP 14-R014TX the display section says 15.6" diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit (1366 x 768) but in case of this lenovo z50-70 59429623, the display section says 15.6 FHD TN GL(SLIM). Can anyone tell me how are both different from each other?
I am posting the screenshots of the above mentioned models too.

Hey GODMODE09,
You must have installed an O.S by now. I want to know:
1. Which O.S have you installed on this laptop? If Windows 7, did you easily find all the drivers?
2. Moreover, is the FULL HD display really worth it? I mean, is it LED backlit or more like an LCD display? Do the colors change when you view it from different angles?
3. Is there some Accidental Damage Protection that Lenovo offers along with this product?
4. How is Lenovo's customer support?

I have win 7 ultimate.
Fhd display was needed for my work .
It looks good enough for me, I don't know much about display types.
All drivers are there in lenovo site for win 7.
Lenovo technical online support is very good.

FHD means the display resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
If you watch movies on a normal laptop (1366 x 768 pixels) with screen size of 15.6 inch, the screen looks pixellated since the pixel per inch (ppi) is pretty less. You can see each individual pixel.

In a Full HD display, the pictures will be sharper and crisper.

2. Full HD refers to the native resolution of the screen. It has nothing to do with LCD or LED Backlit.
And if you want wide viewing angles, get a laptop with IPS screen. Since this laptop uses TN displays, viewing angles won't be too good. Read the review of this laptop on Notebookcheck.net to get an idea regarding the diaplay.

3. Not sure about ADP but Lenovo is offering 2 years extended warranty for free on this model if you buy before 31st December and register on the promotional website.
Lenovo is offering free ADP for specific models via the website lenovoservices.net But the list of models covered by that offer are not mentioned.[DOUBLEPOST=1417334848][/DOUBLEPOST]@GODMODE09 Check you PM inbox.
