0-10K buying Moto Atrix 4g, any better option in price range??

Buying in a week's time.

I one of those very few guys who try to keep a phone for atleast 2-3 yrs (currently using 5800)
Due to sudden other expenses (and sudden death of beloved Nokia 5800), cannot buy Moto G.
Best cheaper option I found, is Moto Atrix 4g on ebay. could not find AtrixHd

Questions:-
1. Budget?
A: 5-8k
2. Preferred Form Factor(flip, bar, slider)?
A: Bar
3. Preferred display type?
A: don't know
4. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: avoid unknown brands eg Karbonn, maxx, zen, iball etc
5. Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen
6. Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: decent cam with flash (for torch function)
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: android
8. Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: Edge, WiFi ,3G etc.
9. What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: PHONE, music, whatsapp, document viewer, mails, GPS, movies, camera. No gaming at all.
10. Any other requirements?
A: Don't require dual sim, need very very good and long lasting build quality. impressed by my brother's Defy+. Nokia5800 was good too, but Defy+ is a son of 3310 !!
11. If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Motorola Atrix 4G (though stuck at GB, custom ICS is available on XDA, says my bro)

Now I found about this model by accident, reading some other thread on TE. Are there any more hidden jwewls?
O/w I would have bought some micromax.
but somehow I don't think MMX, Lava will be long lasting and the typical Mediatek CPUs can perform at par with QLMM CPUS (It's like celeron and Pentium 4)
highly tempted by MMX Unite2 A106 (extra 0.7" got me... it's a guy thing "wish it was a bit bigger")
i see lots of guys using MMX happily (mostly not techies )

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.

Any better model than Atrix4G available via ebay unlocked route?

Moto Atrix 4G is an old phone and it would be better if you look at Moto E.

Get the Moto E, I remember the battery life on Atrix 4G with 3G was real bad.

I see a lot of people complaining about its touchpanel. is it a common problem?

The ICS available for the phone on XDA is severely undercooked and not fit for daily use. The forums for the phone resemble a ghost town as most have sold off the phone and moved to newer phones.
This coming from an ex Atrix 4G user.

Get yourself the Moto E or a used and good condition Galaxy Nexus. The latter can be had for under 7K or even lesser.

Go for the moto E. Should be a much better experience.
Have used the atrix 4G in the past.
You intend to use the phone for a long time and the atrix wont get any updates, so moto E makes a lot more sense.

Only thing you will be missing is cameras.

^^no no, I'm talking about Atrix 4G. It has reported many touch screen problems...but most of them were custom ROM related.

BTW Nokia 5800 lives... so mobile purchase postponed !!!!
