Grab a second hand PSP and enjoy till the year end, then sell it off for around 4k and get the PSP2 with extra cash. Dont buy the PSP2 for like 3 monts after Indian official launch, the prices usually come down by 10 to 25% within 3 to 4 months.

maybe if you get lucky, some filthy rich ppl will buy a PSP2 when it releases and then decide its not soemthing that they want and sell it off after couple of months, then you can get like a 20% dicount on the 3 month price which will be almost 30 to 40% less than the release price of the PSP2.

Is the PSP 3000/4 moddable to load custom firmware?

EDIT: Can someone provide info on how long the battery will last on a full charge?? Considering continuous gaming for 5-6hrs and an hour of browsing over wifi and an hour of listening to music
