buying xbox+kinect

I already own a PS3 but when i played kinect i just loved it so now i m looking to buy the 4gb bundle with kinect but have a few questions

1.Is the new Xbox slim modable or should i just buy the old arcade version and get kinect sensor seprately??

2.If it is modable then does it run kinect games too??

3.And what media will the games run from i.e. the hdd or discs??

Any help is appriciated
 
xbox slim can be modded, though it is a little tricky process. I modded mine myself but if you not comfortable, you can have it modded by a professional. They charge around 3k, here in Mumbai. SO your answers are:

I think i would get it modded from palika bazzar here and might even buy it from there so there is no version problem
 
Hii.. even i am thinking of buying 4GB X360.. is this a good time to buy or should i wait? as MS might release some new bundles for christmas!!
