BW2 Installation Problems.

Every time I try to install Black and White 2 I get this error. I copied the contents of all 4 cds to my harddisk and tried to install it but still I got the same error.



What should I do?
 
replace the speech.lug file with a blank file of the same name in the copied CD contents folder and then try and install. when it finishes, copy the original speech.lug from the cd, to the installation directory.

<this is a purely theoretical procedure, i've tried it once on an old dos game - grim fandango iirc and it worked, dunno if it will work now)

Then the file is corrupt and there is not much you can do.

It looks like you are installing an *ahem* version of the game, and in that case, you'll have to fight with the guy you bought it from. If it is a retail version then i guess you can RMA it.
 
I was googling around a bit and I found several people had several problems during installation or when the game runs "villagers not ageing" bugs etc. etc. One of the buggiest games.

Still this setup works on my friend's pc but not on mine.
 
ok... -then try creating a new user account and installing from there - when i was playing Civ4 - it refused to run in my profile, but ran without any problems in other profiles...
