Bring on the Overlords, man! Can't wait for this.

Hoping that it does not become another CNC4 Tiberium Twilight kind of game. Although it had its good points, as an RTS fan, did not like it that much.

BioWare Victory's Jon Van Caneghem describes Generals 2 as "a return to the roots of core C&C gameplay," as opposed to the radical redesign of C&C4, and promises "bases, resources, and giant armies."

Btw, this is being made by an entirely new studio called Bioware Victory, which was very recently acquired by EA and promptly put under the Bioware umbrella. Mass Effect guys are not making this, so we should set our expectations straight.

^Exactly. From what I read on RPS, this new studio has nothing to do with Bioware. EA are just using the Bioware brand name to attract gamers' and media attention.
In other words, it this doesn't turn out to be good, this will dilute the Bioware brand. Anyway, too early to make any judgments now. Let them release more details.

Brilliant, I can realize the next game coming from their stable, Visceral Games producing --

DEAD SPACE-ville -- invite your friends to hunt haunted derelict, decrepit space hulks and stations is space. Enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Click-click-click till you overdraw on your credit card to buy enough stamina to get past a boss.

P.S. -- above mentioned game can be discontinued any-time of the year, is only available on facebook so you can spam your friends wall with cries of help for plasma cutter ammunition requests and gift them with Lurkers on their anniversaries.

Yup, the p2win model sucks. I got out of CnC : Tiberium Alliances because of the same.
